Overview

The Kailash Overland Tour via Kerung is a unique 10-day pilgrimage route from Nepal to Tibet. Starting with sightseeing in Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage sites, the journey takes you through the scenic Langtang National Park and across the Nepal-Tibet border at Kerung. From there, the tour continues through Saga, Paryang, Mansarovar, and Darchen, offering spectacular views of Mt. Kailash, Gurla Mandhata, Rakshash Lake, and Lake Mansarovar.

The spiritual highlight of this tour is the Kailash Kora — a 53 km circumambulation completed over three days, including the high pass of Drolma La. The pilgrimage is best undertaken between May and August when the weather is favorable. The itinerary is flexible and can be tailored to your preferences.
